The conflict in defense of local self-government: constitutional chimera
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper has two main objectives. The first is to study the regulation on the spanish conflict in defense of local self-government in the organic law of Constitutional Court in order to compare it with the different local realities in Spain, in such a way as to clarify the possibilities presented by this reactive instrument for local self-government prescribed in the Spanish Constitution. Because of the results achieved in the previous analysis, the second objective is to make proposals regarding the reform of the actual regulation, in view of making this procedure more operative in our legal system.
