Power relations between national and territorial leaders in the PP and PSOE (1979/2008)

Abstract

In this article we have focused on studying the power relations that occur between national and local leaders in both major national parties, PP and PSOE, in order to determine changes that have occurred in them. Hence, we have analyzed the presence of regional leaders in the national bodies in which decisions are taken, the influence they can exercise the same in the national organization, and with national leaders in regional organizations, the degree Real autonomy seem to have regional organizations and mechanisms available to regional bodies to participate in party policy. In short, it attempts to measure the true power of the territorial organizations of the two parties being studied.
