Abstract
En 1834, durante el Ministerio Martínez de la Rosa, se inicia un largo proceso de reestructuración de los órganos centrales del Estado, exigida por el tránsito de un sistema de gobierno absoluto a otro de corte representativo. El principio de la reforma se convierte, a la desaparición de Fernando VII, en eje de la vida política que va a concretarse en dos medidas capitales: la supresión de los Consejos y la promulgación del Estado Real y posterior convocatoria de Cortes.
