Abstract

The Cortes Generales have satisfactorily fulfilled their constitutional role for four decades. This study analyzes the model established in 1978 and its evolution. That model, with its changes, is having an unusual stability in our parliamentary history. But it also has problems and challenges that suggest reforms.
