Lex Artis and Due Process: Assumptions of Contemporary Parliamentary Discipline

Abstract
The body of rules regulating parliamentary discipline tends to guarantee the fair and proper debate in Parliament. The proportional use of disciplinary powers and the respect to due process in the course of disciplinary proceedings is a necessary condition required by the jurisprudence in order not to violate the fundamental rights of parliamentarians.
