Main Article Content
Abstract
The judgment refers to the Agreement of the Bureau of the Congress of Deputies on the 15th of November, 2018, which rejected the appeal against the Agreement of the same body on the 31st of October, 2018. The latter denied the authorization to celebrate a meeting by Members of Parliament in the Constitutional Room of the Congress in parallel to that of the EUCOCO (43. European Conference for Support and Solidarity with the Saharawi People), that took place in Madrid on the 16th and 17th of November, 2018. In the judgment, the Constitutional Court specifies the content of the right to exercise representative public office, concluding that the right to use the rooms of the Congress of Deputies to celebrate meetings not related to parlamientary functions are not part of this right, denying the Appeal for Protection.
